Delete Your CareWeave Account
You can delete your CareWeave account and the data linked to it at any time, directly from the app.
📱1. Delete from the app (fastest)
- Open the CareWeave app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete My Account (in the Account section).
- Choose when to delete — in 30 days or now.
- Enter your password and confirm.
This works for both patient and caregiver accounts. If you have an order that is still in progress, please wait until it is delivered or cancel it first.
⏳2. What happens next
- Delete in 30 days: your account is deactivated immediately (you are signed out and reminders stop) and permanently deleted after 30 days. To cancel, just sign in again before then.
- Delete now: your account and data are permanently deleted right away. This cannot be undone.
🗂️3. What is deleted and what we keep
Deleted:
- Your profile (name, phone number, email, date of birth, gender, address)
- Medications, dose history, health readings and symptom logs
- Orders, prescriptions, appointments, consultation notes and reports
- Links to caregivers or patients, notifications, settings and push notification tokens
Kept: only anonymised security records (for example, that a login or a deletion happened). These contain no name, phone number, email or IP address, so they cannot be linked back to you.
✉️4. Can't use the app?
If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email privacy@careweavehealth.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request", from the email address linked to your account (or include the phone number you registered with). We will verify your identity and delete your account within 30 days, then confirm by email.
